Position Overview

As part of the CRH global building materials group, we are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Atlanta, GA. This role will involve developing, analyzing, and maintaining critical financial reporting and metrics to support our company’s leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Capital Expenditure Management: Oversee and administer capital expenditure tracking processes and programs.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packages, adhering to both US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Month-end Closing: Manage month-end closing activities, including reviewing submissions from operating companies and divisions.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with business unit leaders and key partners to address financial close, issues, deliverables, and other relevant financial matters.
• Audit Support: Prepare for and respond to internal and external audit requests.
• Financial Analysis: Generate ad-hoc financial analyses and reports for senior management.
• Business Support: Investigate and resolve complex business inquiries for assigned business units.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance productivity, optimize data efficiency, and maintain data quality.
• Project Participation: Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and accounting roles or relevant industry experience.
• Previous experience in an operations/manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• CPA or pursuit of CPA certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

• Strong financial background.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and consolidation systems, such as Hyperion Financial Manager or Hyperion Planning, is preferred.
