The Engineering function is responsible for all engineering activities within the firm to ensure that business objectives are met. Includes the creation, development, design, and improvement of products, equipment, facilities, services, standards, and procedures in all engineering fields.

The primary responsibility of this job is to ensure the growth of the organization’s technology portfolio through concept/idea formulation and prototype development in line with the business strategy, requirements, and specifications. These individuals participate in the evolution and development of new innovative architectures and methods to maintain, upgrade, replace, and improve the long-term performance of the existing architectures. They will be required to interact with development teams, Project Managers, and Business Analysts and create and/or translate business requirements into executable plans.

Job Description

• Primary support for Security Infrastructure platforms focused on Requests, Incidents, Monitoring alerts, and Problem Resolution
• Conduct SIEM log data harvesting to help triage incidents or fulfill customer and audit requests
• Responsible for resolving or escalating incidents in a timely manner
• Attempt to identify what the underlying causes of issues are within the infrastructure of a system and how to resolve them
• Assist with the resolution of incidents, problems, changes, and monitoring alerts within established SLAs
• Develop ways to optimize or automate processes
• Customize AV platforms to suit customer needs, and work on remediation for commodity malware
• Analysts develop skills to perform 1st touch resolution from start to finish for security infrastructure
• Manage Customer Security Platforms (Web Content Filtering, SIEM, AV, and more)
• Investigate account chronic account lockout issues
• Enroll Pending agents, audit hosts/log sources, and perform health checks for SIEM
• Improve SIEM and AV visibility by troubleshooting non-heartbeating hosts
• Gain experience with platforms like SIEM, AV, IAM, Vulnerability Scanning and Remediation, Web Content Filtering, and more

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Typically requires extensive related experience with a bachelor’s or equivalent degree
