Robert Half is currently accepting applications for a Software Developer position on behalf of a client. The ideal candidate for this position will effectively be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Norwalk, Ohio area.

How you will make an impact

• Offer clear and consistent liaise around solutions and time estimates to client-facing program management teams
• This is the perfect job for you if you want to work where you will maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems
• Collaborate with the Scrum team to provide accurate work estimates
• Steadily fulfill code reviews and associate with other developers
• Troubleshoot and provide production support

Requirements

• Less than one year of experience
• This position requires familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database)
• If you’re looking for job openings and can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments, you might be a good fit for this position
• Experience crafting, documenting, and testing APIs
• Candidates with experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc. will be the best fit for this position.
• Applicants with familiarity with scrum are preferred
• Applicants with knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, and AIF will be preferred.
• Web Frameworks experience desired
• ASP.NET MVC Framework experience
• C# experience highly desired
• Adeptness in Microsoft Server
• Web forms experience
• Web API experience
• It is preferred for applicants to have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc.
